Policies in their entirety.
These policies are in place to protect all involved parties. By going forward with this Project, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms of these Policies
in their entirety.
| OUR DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION POLICIES |

WebSlingers is not a registrar in its own right. We work primarily with a single domain name registrar, but also have accounts on other registrars.
1. AGREEMENT
In this Domain Name Registration Agreement, ("Agreement"), "you" and "your" refer to the Client ("Client") and "WebSlingers", "we," "us" and "our" refer to
WebSlingers Web Development/LakeShore Computer Technologies and "Services" refers to the domain name registration services provided by us as offered
through our contracted domain name registrar(s). This Agreement explains our obligations to you and your obligations to us in connection with your use
of our services. This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions relating to the registration, renewal, reinstatement, and transfer of a domain
name. To utilize our registration process, you must read and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of this Agreement.
2. SELECTION, AVAILABILITY AND USE OF A DOMAIN NAME
a. Selection. We make no representations as to whether or not a particular domain name infringes upon any trademark or intellectual property rights.
b. Availability. We make no representations regarding the availability of a domain name. After you have decided on the domain name you want to register, you must check if the domain name is available or if it has been registered by another user.
c. Use. You represent that to the best of your knowledge and belief, neither the registration of the domain name nor the manner in which it is directly or indirectly used infringes the legal rights of any third party. You further represent that to the best of your knowledge and belief the domain name is not being registered nor will be used for any unlawful purpose. WebSlingers reserves the right to suspend or cancel your domain name if you use the domain name for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable usage policies.
3. DOMAIN NAME OWNERSHIP
NOTE: All invoices, including website design and/or development fees, as well as any outstanding site maintenance, hosting and other support fees must be paid in full before any domain names will be released for transfer.
As long as you've paid us for your domain name registration and any renewals, you own your domain name, and it's yours to do with as you choose.
» You can sell it to someone else
» You can transfer it to another registrar
» You can decline to renew it at expiration
Or anything else you wish. It's your domain name. We only ask that you let us know if you need to do anything with this.
4. TERM OF AGREEMENT
This Agreement shall remain in full force during the length of the term you have selected, recorded and paid for upon registration of your domain name. If you choose to renew your domain name registration, the terms of this Agreement shall be extended. If you cancel your registration or transfer your domain name to another registrar, these terms and conditions will cease to be in effect.
5. FEES AND PAYMENT
NOTE: All invoices, including website design and/or development fees, as well as any outstanding site maintenance, hosting and other
support fees must be paid in full before any domain names will be released for transfer.
a. Domain name registration and renewal fees are nonrefundable. These fees are nonrefundable, in whole or in part, even if your domain name registration
is suspended, canceled or transferred prior to the end of the registration term.
b. Chargebacks. In the event of a chargeback, credit card fraud or other nonpayment in connection with any required fees, including but not limited to the
registration, renewal or transfer fee, you will lose all rights in the selected domain name and you agree WebSlingers will be deemed the entity that paid the
applicable fee. You further agree to the transfer of the domain name registration and all associated rights to WebSlingers including without limitation,
the right to sell the name to a third party. WebSlingers may, at our sole discretion, reinstate your registration upon receipt of all applicable service fees
in addition to a reinstatement fee of $200.
c. Paid Status. Domain name registrations that have passed their anniversary date must be in a paid status in order to transfer, delete, modify or
change the domain name record, or to provide domain name services. Domain name registrations in an unpaid status may be deleted without notice
to you.
6. REGISTRATION RENEWALS
WebSlingers will send you an invoice 30 days before your domain name is scheduled to expire. If you do not specifically tell us not to renew your
domain name, WebSlingers may, at our discretion, automatically renew the domain name registration on your behalf.
If your renewal invoice isn't paid within 10 calendar days after the domain name's expiration, WebSlingers will stop forwarding your domain name to your
website.
If your domain name renewal invoice isn't paid within 30 days after the domain name's expiration, you may recover your domain name for a fee of $50 per domain
name, multiplied by the number of months (30 calendar-day intervals) that the registration renewal invoice is past due.
If your domain name renewal invoice isn't paid within 60 days after the domain name's expiration, WebSlingers may, at our discretion, sell the domain name to
a third party, without recourse to you.
WebSlingers may elect to keep registering the domain name for as long as we choose, or abandoning the domain name, at which point it will be deleted at the registrar, making it available for registration by others.
7. ACCESS TO REGISTRAR RECORD
By default, WebSlingers registers all domain names in our name. If your domain name is registered with our registrar, be aware that Clients do not have login access to change their registrant information. WebSlingers is happy to make any changes necessary to your registrar record.
At your request, WebSlingers can put your contact information in these fields:
» Registrant/Domain Name Owner
» Administrative Contact
If your contact information is used as Registrant and/or Administrative Contact, the following will be required:
» Organization Name
» Organization Contact (first and last name)
» Postal Address
» Email Address
» Telephone Number
» Facsimile Number (if available)
If you are hosting your domain name on another server, WebSlingers will require the nameserver address for that server.
WebSlingers will be the Billing Contact on any domain names registered on your behalf with our registrar.
WebSlingers will be the Technical Contact on any domain names for websites hosted on our servers.
If your domain name isn't assigned to a hosting account, your domain name can be forwarded to any web address you choose.
If your domain name isn't assigned to a hosting account, we can create email addresses under your domain name that can be forwarded to any email address you desire.
8. NAMESERVERS
WebSlingers nameservers are reserved solely for use by Clients of WebSlingers. If WebSlingers registers a domain name on your behalf and the domain name isn't pointing to an account on our hosting server(s), it will be necessary for you to provide us with a nameserver that we can use in your registrar record.
We can provide custom MX and A records at our server if your website is hosted on our server(s).
We can provide custom MX and A records at the registrar if your website is NOT hosted on our server(s).
9. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
When WebSlingers registers a domain name on your behalf it will be placed in "lock" status at the registrar, to prevent it from being transferred without the approval or knowledge of Client or WebSlingers.
10. REGISTRAR TRANSFERS
NOTE: All invoices, including website design and/or development fees, as well as any outstanding site maintenance, hosting and other support fees must be paid in full before any domain names will be released for transfer.
As long as you've paid us for your domain name registration, you own your domain name, and it's yours to do with as you choose.
Registrar rules dictate...
(a) You cannot transfer any domain name to another domain name registrar during the first sixty (60) days from its initial registration date.
(b) You cannot transfer any domain name to another domain name registrar within fifteen (15) days before its expiration date.
(c) You cannot transfer any domain name to another domain name registrar if registration has expired for that domain name.
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
You agree that if a dispute arises as a result of one or more domain names registered by WebSlingers on your behalf, you will indemnify, defend and hold WebSlingers harmless as provided for in this agreement. You also agree that if WebSlingers is notified that a complaint has been filed with a governmental, administrative or judicial body, regarding a domain name registered on your behalf by WebSlingers, that WebSlingers, at its sole discretion, may take whatever action WebSlingers deems necessary regarding further modification, assignment of and/or control of the domain name deemed necessary to comply with the actions or requirements of the governmental, administrative or judicial body until such time as the dispute is settled. In this event you agree to hold WebSlingers harmless for any action taken by WebSlingers.
12. RESTRICTIONS
WebSlingers may disable a domain name if that name is being used, as determined by WebSlingers at its sole discretion, to be in association with spam or morally objectionable activities. Morally objectionable activities will include, but not be limited to: activities designed to defame, embarrass, harm, abuse, threaten, slander or harass third parties; activities prohibited by the laws of the United States and/or foreign territories in which you conduct business; activities designed to encourage unlawful behavior by others, such as hate crimes, terrorism and child pornography; activities that are tortious, vulgar, obscene, invasive of the privacy of a third party, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable; activities designed to impersonate the identity of a third party; and activities designed to harm or unethically use minors in any way.
In the event WebSlingers disables a domain name for being used in association with spam or morally objectionable activities, no refund will be issued.
